Letter to Labyrinth Zone on Sonic the Hedgehog

Post by PixelPixii »

Labyrinth Zone,

Let's both be honest and admit that our relationship has been a bit "rocky." Maybe rocky is not the right term considering you don't throw rocks at me, but instead, drown me.

A lot.

I will give you some credit, your brightly lit pixels truly are mind blowing and I really thought the water slides were really cool! (Kudos) I am a loyal friend and have defended your 16 bits with the devotion of a homeless man to cardboard. I can't tell you how many times I defended you to PlayStation 2. A normal, thankful friend, would grant some leniency to get through all three of your acts. I don't know how many relationships you have had, but I am starting to feel like the only giver here… what does that make you?

I know you are too proud of your "underwater idea" to give it up, but would it hurt you to slow down the "countdown to death?" I mean, there are halves between numbers you know. If anything, please remove the spiky floating "things" from the equation. I have included a picture to remind you of what I speak:

Who's idea was that anyway?

Please consider my words and meditate on how important our relationship is to you. This is not an ultimatum because I will always be a fan, but as a girl I can hold grudges for a long time.

Meaning forever.

Think about it.

Yours truly,

~Pixii~

Thanks guys.

My response to having stayed up til 1am trying to beat the damn level for the 5th time.

It needed to know my thoughts. I like to talk out my frustrations with my games. LOl

No more than I did writing it. A weight was lifted off my chest. It needed to be said.

Good to hear! ...I hate that level too. In fact, I pretty much hate any under water levels when the main character is a land-faring species.
