I'm a bit of a mecha fiend though. It's not the best balanced or looking game on the Dreamcast but oh man is it fun and full of unlockable content including Jin Saotome in his Blodia II. There's TONS of tongue-in-cheek references for giant robot anime fans as well.
I played that game for ages.
My favorite 2D fighter is probably Marvel vs. Capcom 2 out of nostalgia but I really enjoyed the feel of Last Blade 2 and had a lot of fun with that with my friends.

Marvel vs. Capcom, without question. That is the pinnacle of Capcom's 2D fighters, IMO. MvC 2 just got to be a little too much going on on the screen at once for my tastes while Marvel vs. Capcom was more focused on the gameplay than the flashiness.

Word, the soul still burns. Soul Calibur is my favorite 3D fighter. I used to play that game for hours upon hours with friends. So many memories of buddies sitting around in a living room, passing the controllers back and forth and picking our favorite characters or choosing our alternates to go head to head with one another. Soul Calibur is the game where I got my longest survival streak of any fighter. 92 rounds. My parents made me quit to eat dinner. I was so mad...YoshiEgg25 wrote:Soulcalibur! Great times.
