Hey now. That show is awesome.

Bummer to hear that comedy central passed you up but I'm not that surprised. While I love the show it's easy to see that it appeals to a much smaller demographic than what CC tries to market to. What does surprise me about it is that I know I have seen you on comedy central before but it looks like you were working with another group. Pretty funny stuff.

Anyways, Adult Swim seems like it would be the right move for you if they will accept it. They pick up lots of rather out there shows and have an extremely loyal fanbase. I'm not sure you could get away with only Talking Classics but with a mixture of your other skits I'm sure you could probably get onto their late night schedule pretty easily.

I wouldn't do Keith online anymore but I'd do the other videos when I wasnt working on the show. I'd go crazy if I only did one character.

Where did you get that poster of movie Donatello in the straw hat? It's amazing.
I got it on ebay. All my TMNT posters.

What about IFC? They seem to be expanding their horizons (and they recently added commercials. . . DAMMIT!). But they've been playing older shows like Freaks and Geeks, Mr. Show and a new show called the increasingly poor decisions of todd margaret, which is pretty weird.

IFC is definitely a place I would consider. They're really filling their schedule with some cool stuff. Todd Margaret is funny and I love F&G.

My friend Alex Berg is also hosting a new video game show that will come out on IFC.

Huge fan, but personally, I'm kind of happy. Not that I want you to fail, but I really think Comedy Central would change it too much. Your material is too... clean. I imagine the need for more crass humor and generic pop culture when it comes to producers' wishes.

Then again I know nothing of Hollywood. Good luck with finding a place for the character!

It's a shame they didn't pick it up. I wonder if you can tell us how you went through the pitching process, I find it fascinating.

They did have us add some things that I wouldnt write on my own. I was OK with doing it knowing it's my first show and it will open doors.

A pitch is pretty simple you go in and explain your idea. The characters, the world, pilot plot, other episode ideas. I brought a dvd of a compilation of Keith moments from online. Most everyone there already knows Keith well but incase some hadn't and to refresh their memories and to start the meeting off with something they can laugh at. The liked it and paid us to write the script.

Now we have this script that we have to sell to someone else.

Your better off forgetting that station since your not Tosh.0 material or whatever. Comedy Central turned down Venture Bros and Public and Hammer went to Cartoon Network and look where that took them.

I think you got a shot for CN because Adult Swim love their freaking live action shows now and cannot get enough of that. I mean, your talking about a block who had Saul of the Moleman for 200000000000000000000000 episodes long, i think you got a good shot or i would imagine so.
