Hi guys,
was wondering if there is a controller like the NES Advantage for the Master System besides a Sega Genesis Arcade Stick. Thanks in advance
Anything like NES Advantage for Master System??
Re: Anything like NES Advantage for Master System??
There was the Sega Master System Control Stick, much smaller and the buttons were on the left:

You can also find a tiny bit of information on it in the first article on my blog:

That's what I was going to say. I have one and it pretty much sucks. Joysticks should be on the left for anything except an Atari 2600. The base is too small, and the joystick is kind of mushy. Just skip it and use a Genesis stick.

I think the sticks ok if you don't have the Genesis stick as I never minded the buttons on the left, but I use the Genesis stick instead now that I have it because of the weight difference. I kept accidentally lifting the Master System stick.Hatta wrote:That's what I was going to say. I have one and it pretty much sucks. Joysticks should be on the left for anything except an Atari 2600. There was a thread about the best arcade sticks for each system last year. A quick search found the thread and some reading produced studentzki's recommendation for the SMS here. Later in the thread there was some discussion about the Genesis 6-Button stick and it's compatibility with the Master System

Haha, I was gonna reply with the quickshot stick, but you were faster
But it's still the best way to go for your master system!

Ever since you posted that I've been keeping my eye out for the Quickshot in the various B/S/T forums I frequent; when I find one for the right price I'll definitely give it a try.studentzki wrote:Haha, I was gonna reply with the quickshot stick, but you were faster

I had one since I was 12 or so, and last year I found my second one on the german ebay for 1 euro!tylerbgood wrote:Ever since you posted that I've been keeping my eye out for the Quickshot in the various B/S/T forums I frequent; when I find one for the right price I'll definitely give it a try.studentzki wrote:Haha, I was gonna reply with the quickshot stick, but you were faster

Shipping was 8 euro's, but still, a stick for 9 euro isn't bad
