Nice work Ziggy! That gives me high hopes for the outcome of mine. I have a can of Krylon Fusion for it. Did you sand it at any stage of the paint job?

Thanks Noise. How'r those manuals treating ya?

No, I didn't sand it at all. Just made sure it was super clean (and didn't use anything that would leave a residue) and did nice even coats of satin black. I use to have a pic of it next to a real back Cube and you couldn't tell the difference.

I have relatives who have experience spray painting things who've given me some solid advice, so I'm confident that if I take my time and practice first, it will come out good. I'm just lazy and a bit hesitant. I think I'll start with my Wavebird receiver.
Flat black Krylon Fusion and it came out looking just like a real black Gamecube.

Wouldn't it of been easier to just buy a black gamecube?

No. At the time I had 3 Gamecubes, two were black and one was indigo. I don't remember the exact circumstances, but the indigo was originally the model I wanted to keep while the other two I wanted to sell, but I wanted a black one. It was easy enough to spray it, it really was.

Improvements to collection!

And a special thanks to Noiseredux and his kickass blog... without it, I may never have known the wonders of storing GBA carts in DS cases or about TheCoverProject and their fancy resized scans. Cheers :D

Shoot, I forgot about that. I'll have to get on it. Having 17 loose GBA games and not knowing what is what without grabbing one and the rest toppling over is annoying me.
