There are drivers out there for PS3 controllers that will make it work, more or less, like any other controller you'd hook up to the PC.

Only problem is that these drivers have a pretty tough time with 64-bit Windows OSs, which is why I haven't been able to use my PS3 controllers ever since getting my new system - thus, I can't test WinKawaks out to know for sure if it will work or not. But it should.

I was using this driver from MotionJoy on Windows 7 x64 no problem. You set it up and calibrate the analog settings and you should be good to go. I have a wireless Logitech controller that is similar to my PS3 controller so I just use that because I felt the driver was a bit complicated.
