That's a pretty cheap price. Where did you get it? Ebay?

Official ones go for $50+.

I get 10+ hours with an extended battery on a PSP-2000 running mostly apps from a card.

Folks who want the extended life battery can save 20% off from Sony's store through Jan 15th. This means $6 off the battery so the total would be $23.99 plus shipping. The 20% discount applies to all PSP accessories as well as HDTV, Home Theater, Computers, Digital Imaging, Portable Audio and PSP. This was from an email I got today. It doesn't seem to apply to PS3 unfortunately.
