Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

People are fucking idiots. Chrono Trigger is just one of those games that has been spread as "teh bestest rpg evar!!11" by stupid kids on the internet in the same way FF7 has so people pay ridiculous prices. Hell I have a boxed and shrink wrapped copy of Fun 'n Games which is far more rare but I doubt anyone would pay more than 20 bucks for it. No one should ever pay this much for a videogame unless it's unreleased, I'd pay this much for a copy of Earthbound zero all shrink wrapped and stuff but that's just about the only game worth this much money.

Wow. Sucks if it gets smashed or lost in the mail. I think I'll just stick to emulation thanks.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

I love it too, but you can't deny that it's been overly hyped.

I bought the Japanese Chrono Trigger used, in near-mint, CIB, for $3. The art/cover is a lot nicer than the US version (which I also have CIB in storage).
The whole $1,200 for something unopened that was meant to be played can easily be passed over to the comic book guys but then again, most comics are sealed (I do have those '90s death and rebirth Superman comics sealed though).
My point? I dunno... Tired.

No doubt...StarFox 2, or the Nintendo PowerFest cartridges are a better pick for "Holy Grail".
