I realize that most of you aren't PC gaming fans, but I continue to be impressed with Rock Paper Shotgun. They do a great job of posting game news as well as game-related news (like about the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. TV show), mod info, and also some retro reviews or related material from time to time.

It just occured to me that Gamespot forums and GameFAQs forums are actually the same, just with different skins.

Geez, Opa, you were talking to GameFAQs forum users, one of the dumbest gaming communities on the entire internet... you really should've expected this.

Yeah, they're pretty great. I should've subscribed to their RSS long ago.

I tried to knock some sense in to them, but they swear that their 25+ years of blowing means they're right, even though they have to continue to blow and blow, and blow.

Meh, they are all crap. The big gaming titles reviews and commentary are pure propaganda by people with no periodistic integrity. The other titles are masturbatory material for 12 years old without personality that enjoy being told that "this game sucks because after using 787896456456 credits it's only half an hour long" and "The game tat created the music genre is totally a Guiter Hero ripoff"

I would like to thank not only you, but everyone else who fought the good fight against poor cartridge maintenance. I love how their arguments have become little more than: "Well...uh...I'm still gonna blow in carts because I'm right...

edit: Hmm... for some reason gamespot still says I'm online... :? And I logged out a while ago...

The funny thing is that the Gamespot users are considered to be a lower tier by the community than the GameFAQs users.

Its simply infuriating. They continue to claim that their errors are normal. Even after the guy admitted that humidity and heat cause corrosion he denied that the humidity and heat of your breath will cause any.

Oh well. Their loss. Just keep in mind that when you insert a cart and it boots up first time, somewhere there are people blowing in carts in a futile attempt to get their game working.
