You're the one that started a thread advising people to wipe their asses with dollar bills and then hand them to clerks in retaliation for a policy you don't like and they can't help.

So either you want to:

A) Bitch about gamestop. Been there, done that. Move along
B) Find a way to avoid opened 'new' games. You've been thus advised.

You set the tone of the conversation. Or were we supposed to cheer you on for your sticking it to the man?
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I'm with Flake. Don't stir the shit if you don't want to smell it.

I just refuse to pay for the game if its been opened. If thats their policy fine. They just dont get the sale.

What pisses me off is when the clerk tries to convince me that its exactly the same.

Jesus Christ, man. Don't tell me you took that seriously for a second. I was being sarcastic and ironic. Do you think I would really subject another person who's only trying to earn their wage honestly to such kind of torture? Or expose myself in such a way? Could you please read between the lines and not take everything literally? I even posted later that I was using hyperbole and satire. (And you know, there is the chance I also know the "joys" of working retail, and have nothing against most GS employees.)

Now I could be a jerk and use your own words to tell you that if you don't like this thread, go read others somewhere else in the forum, because nobody forced you. And apply the same standard to you: Bitch about gamestop threads and move along, or find a way to avoid threads that have the "Gamestop" word in them. Or even ask if you were expecting to be cheered on for your vitriolic responses. I could apply the exact same standard to you. (And to be honest, you had the option of bypassing this thread if it wasn't your cup of tea.)

But that would be flaming, wouldn't it? That'd be me attacking you, not your arguments.

Now, would you kindly look at Inazuma's post? (Sorry for using you as an example, 'Zuma). He states a fact and expresses his dislike in a few sentences. He didn't even had to empathize or agree with me.

Just like Mendoza said, what gets me is when they attempt to pass it off as it being the same, and flat out refusing to sell me a shrink-wrapped one, under the excuse that "those are being sent back to the distribution center because It's Wednesday/ the coriolis effect/ Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle/ The Goshdarned Batman."

Or is there some sort of form that needs to be filled before a post can be made stating a dislike of their policy, along with a satirical jab? Maybe even request a specific member's approval?

Now, if you are a Gamestop employee and I've stepped on your toes, well, sorry. The hatred is against the game and the referees, not the player. Hence the satire.

How about one of these:

A - If you don't like it, don't buy it..

or..

B - If a thread isn't being grasped in quite the way in which you intended, move on.. Life's too short to waste on a joke that bombed way too early..

Holy shit, dude. You seem to have a lot of feelings that need to get out. Do you need a hug?
