Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Re: Games Beaten : 2011
you know this was one of the games I had for sale too...ReddMcKnight wrote:Just a few minutes ago, I finally completed The Adventures of Bayou Billy for the NES. Playing the game itself is an ordeal. It's not like it's glitched or buggy, but it's REALLY hard. After memorizing practically every level over the past week or two, I finally beat it tonight, mostly thanks to some advice on how to make it a little easier from a fellow forum member. I think my Title of "Captain N" is in full effect now, but damn, I am NEVER doing that again.
Games beat so far: 6
Re: Games Beaten : 2011
Serious Sam: The Second Encounter (PC)(FPS)
X-Men: Mutant Academy (PS1)(Fighting)
Street Fighter Alpha (PS2)(Fighting)
TOTAL: 3
I'd never actually played through the original Alpha, but I've had the Street Fighter Alpha Anthology sitting in my collection for a while, so I figured I might as well pull it out and give it a shot. I ran through both Arcade and Dramatic Battle playing as Ryu...so plain vanilla, I suppose. Heh, I remember being better at these games. My fingers started to cramp a little ways into it, and then Guy wiped the floor with me. Dramatic Battle was interesting, but it took a little while for me to find a partner worth a damn. That's what I get for picking Dan on my first attempt. He literally didn't do anything. Akuma on the other hand... Adon and Sagat weren't a problem for him, but M.Bison's teleport moves threw us off, at least until the computer remembered that my partner was Akuma and immediately proceeded to Raging Demon the fuck out of him.
Is it true that there are a handful of arrange and hyper modes you can unlock for beating all of the games on here?

01/11 - Rez [PlayStation 2]
For a game that everyone seems to claim takes 45 minutes to beat, this took me a long time to finish the final boss. Just to see the pitiful non-ending ending. I don't think there is any way I would ever finish 100% shot down or whatever to see the real ending either. That said, I very much enjoyed my time with this game and can see myself playing through it again someday.
