What are your favorite video game worlds?

Play Viva Pinata, where people bash open animals and then eat their insides(represented as candy so as not to horrify kids). There is a reason that the game has such a cutesy look to it. It you really look at the goings on in Viva Pinata without being distracted by its cutesy veneer. Predators stalk and kill other animals right in front of the player, animals have incestuous sex and produce babies, players even have the option of abusing animals(with is represented by them crying and leaving a player's garden)or they can brutally beat them to death with a shovel(which is then followed by other animals in the garden flocking to the location of said death and eating all of the "candy"that bursts out of the dead animal)

I'm actually a big fan of the game, but when you sit back, peel away the cutesiness covering everything in the game and really look at what's going on, it's a bit disturbing

You win. I've been saying this for so long, and its scary how true it is.

Look also, at Langston, the talking pinata with an obsession for trapping pinatas that would be unhealthy for a human. This is your own kind you're capturing you weirdo! And he makes a profit from it too!

On a more disgusting note, sometimes pinatas will eat a weed which causes them to crap out a sour candy, which other pinatas rush over to eat.

Its a good thing these games are so fun, because they sure are weird.

Also, kind of disturbing is the sound of kids cheering whenever a pinata dies, or the creepy, grim reaper like character who sings a happy little tune as he casually floats into your garden and BASHES ONE OF YOUR SICK OR ILL PINATA'S BRAINS IN!

All joking aside though, the Viva Pinata games are fantastic. They're very addicting, charming and one of the few video games that I can think of that are genuinely relaxing to play.

Deus Ex and the System Shock series are pretty engrossing to me.
Now all we need is some more games based around the Cyberpunk genre of fiction.

The world of GTA - cause why by a car when you can just jack on when you need one

The world of Alex Kidd - cause I never liked Mario's world much

The world of Stryder - cause they have robot Panthers

The world of Marvel vs. Capcom - cause who wouldn't want to hang with Spidey, Wolvie, and Ryu while looking at Morgan's ass

The world of Zelda - cause Link can put all that stuff in a little bag

I always thought that Shadowrun on the SNES had a cool world, but the game had some point where I just got stuck and couldn't figure out what to do, so I kind of dislike it for that reason.
