Arcade stick for my Mac
I'm running MAME OSX on my Macbook Pro and I'm looking for a decent stick for the Shmups and fighting games. Will any stick thats USB work? I found a nice HORI one for the PS3 that's USB for about $30 or the Mayflash which I've read was kinda crappy but can be modded with better parts.

I have the Hori Real Arcade Pro 3, for PS3, it connects via USB and works great with computers. It was I think around 95 dollars though...

Any USB controller should work to be honest.
As long as it works properly and has standard USB HID protocol instead of some proprietary junk then it'll work just fine.

Re: Arcade stick for my Mac
do you own a Wii? or at least a Wiimote? (EDIT: yep. just saw your signature, hahaha)
I use the Wii Hori stick connected through bluetooth (wiiji) so that when I play shmups & TATE the MacBook it's completely wireless and therefore stands less of a chance of me pulling a wire and knocking it over. which would suck.
Recently someone here on racketboy had a Wii Hori stick for sale pretty cheap but sorry, i can't seem to find it now. I thought it was Flake but it's not in his thread anymore, maybe he sold it

Re: Arcade stick for my Mac
Picked up a Mayflash stick with plans to mod with Sanwa buttons and joystick. I only got this one instead of the PS3 one is because it will also work on my PS2.
