On a related note, I was surprised that I found myself enjoying the NKOTB/Backstreet Boys performance on TV on New Years' Eve. I HATED both of those bands in my youth. Now I can better see their merit, and the fact that they are older actually emphasized the strength of the songwriting, harmonies, choreography, etc.
