But they did have all those injuries. Any "oh teh injuries" excuses always make no sense to me. Part of what makes your team good is the ability to withstand injury, and in that regard the Packers have failed miserably. It's like saying the Cowboys or Colts would have been "so great" this year or that "they are a much better team" if only it weren't for injuries. Bullshit. Injuries are as constitutive a part of a team and its record as coaching.
Yup, they failed miserably but are in the Playoffs.
Yeah, teams usually have 1-5 injures in the season, they recover from those most of the team. But teams rarely recover from having 15 players on IR, I'm pretty shocked that the packers were still able to make the playoffs with the injures.

Injury list:
91 Justin Harrell DT
41 Spencer Havner LB
88 Jermichael Finley TE
25 Ryan Grant RB
59 Brad Jones OLB
Josh Bell DB
54 Brandon Chillar ILB
42 Morgan Burnett SS
56 Nick Barnett ILB
51 Brady Poppinga OLB
27 Anthony Smith SS
65 Mark Tauscher T
29 Derrick Martin SS
96 Mike Neal DE
74 Marshall Newhouse T

As much as I love the underdog I just can't root for the Seahawks and that cheater Pete Carroll and that lazy POS Mike Williams.

I kind of agree with you especially in regards to Mike Williams... But you have to realize how NCAA football programs operate.. I believe around 95% of the schools bend the rules except maybe the Ivy league and high academic schools like Stanford.. Just look at the SEC, they oversign players and take advantage of JUCO transfers so that they can get a huge recruiting edge over other conferences.. There is suppose to be a limit of 25 scholarships a year and yet you see schools recruiting upwards of 30 kids a year in the SEC.. It's just how certain regions operate.. Although I believe it has to change.. You can't fault Pete for trying to level the playing field, plus California is a recruiting hotbed..

It sure didn't seem that they deserved to get in (been rooting against them the last couple of weeks as I'm a Rams fan), but they certainly answered the call Saturday against the defending champs. I can't help but feel they'll get beat pretty handily next week, though...

NEVER under estimate your opponent. Looks what happened with the Saints yesterday.

Although I've been thinking with this flockalypse going on, it'd be funny if the Falcons lost, the Seahawks lost in the championship game, and the Ravens lost in the Super bowl. Only team that's missing is the Cardinals! xD

Since the Bears lost to the Seahawks already this season, along with seeing them outduel the high-powered Saints offense, I don't think they'll look past them.

Also, looking at your past posts, I have to say this: I think that the Packers are a good team, and possibly a better team than the Bears without the injuries, but here are the things about their game last week:

1. The Bears had nothing to play for, meaning that there's no reason to pull your best plays out of the playbook (accounting for why they were held to three points).
2. The Packers had the home crowd edge.

If the Bears were to meet the Packers in the NFC Championship Game (which I hope happens, if not for us fans, but for football), the Bears will have Soldier Field rocking and Mike Martz's best plays will be on display.

You better hope the Seahawks win next week. Heck, you better hope your own team wins next week. Atlanta is no pushover.

I'm not underestimating the Seahawks at all, they did beat the Bears 23-20 week 6 at home this year. I just want to whoop their ass.

If the Bears were to host the NFC championship game against Green Bay, that would be insane. The atmosphere would be crazy cause I guarantee other than Bears fans you would have a bunch of Packer fans drive to Chicago for the game.

No, I wanna see the flockalypse in order!
Really though, the Bears did have something to play for. They wanted to keep the Packers out of the Playoffs. They're like Pittsburgh, nobody wants to face them in the playoffs. But now the Packers finally have a decent running game, it's an even more deadly offense. (Fuck you Brandon Jackson, cost me so many fantasy games <_<)

But sadly, I'm sure to get trolled where I live, the Falcons are the closet team to where I live xD
