Not trying to bash the guy, I'm sure he put a lot of effort into it, but I don't really see why people like slot-loading drives. Aside from my PS3 (Which is only a month old) I have never had a device with a slot-loading drive that didn't fail and/or scratch up my discs. I prefer flip-top or at least a tray.
