NFL: Should a losing team go to the play offs?

I just want to revive this thread because the Seahawks are probably going to win the game... The Saints should be embarrassed, particularly after that Marshawn Lynch 67 yard TD run.. Great effort from Lynch, but that was a clown show effort from the Saints..

That was an amazing game - and that TD run was something else. Go Seahawks. Here's hoping a 7-9 team wins it all :D

I hope this thoroughly answers my initial question. That was one of the best games I have watched in a while.

Unbelievable game! The Saints defense was horrible... the Seahawks deserved that win.

Seahawks are always fun to watch at home though.

Glad the Seahawks won because as a Bears fan I didn't want to play the Saints next week. I can't believe I'm doing this but I'll be rooting for the Packers tomorrow to beat the Eagles so we can host the Seahawks. Even though we beat the Eagles at home already this season, I don't want to face them in the playoffs. We also lost to the Seahawks earlier this year and we must avenge that defeat

I'm thinking the best thing overall would be for Green Bay to win, then for them to win again so the Bears can face them for the NFC Championship.

Except that the Seahawks are going to the bowl.

Did you know that they will not have a winning record unless they go to the Super Bowl?

Yeah that would be insane  . Although I think Green Bay would beat us honestly. You a Seahawks fan MrPopo? If you are that was one hell of a game. Everybody was writing off the Seahawks because of their record (myself included) and they beat the world champs. That 67 yard run for a TD by Marshawn Lynch was crazy. Congrats to the Seahawks.

Hell no. I was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs. Da Bears all the way.
