Final Fantasy Legend II
The best portable RPG, hands down.
Excellent length, light-grind pacing... a handy "memory" feature to review clues... not too difficult or frustrating... and excellent monochrome graphics.
Actually, never got anything more advanced than a GB Pocket. So, yeah, I've got plenty of DMG favorites!

Same here. I also enjoyed Final Fantasy Adventure when I was younger but would have to refresh my memory before I could honestly say what I think of it at this point. When I was younger I was like "oh shit-Final Fantasy & Zelda had a baby! Sweet chili-peppers on stale saltine crackers-this is awesome!"noiseredux wrote:I really (REALLY) like all 3. Re: Favorite Original Gameboy game
I LOVE FF Adventure to the point where when I played Sword Of Mana, I just sort of couldn't. I could see it had amazing graphics, amazing music, etc... but I KNEW the story of FFA so much that it felt wrong.Czernobog wrote:

...and now I kind of want to borrow it when you're done. For some reason I only ever had FF Adventure II on GameBoy, which I also want to play now right after Fantasy Zone.Czernobog wrote:Well now I just HAVE to go back and replay FF Adventure.noiseredux wrote:I LOVE FF Adventure to the point where when I played Sword Of Mana, I just sort of couldn't. I don't even really like RPGs and I loved the crap out of this game. Never did beat it because I was stuck at Odin and some jerk stole it from me at school. Never found out who that was either.pakopako wrote:Final Fantasy Legend II
