There's a pretty large Game Stop thread. It's called "Game Stop is Evil" or something like that.

edit: http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopi ... 83&start=0

So you know how when buying used games from GS, the case and manual aren't necessarily included? But I mean, most of us aren't gonna buy a disc only version for the same priced if we can get it with the case and manual. I won't buy a disc only version, I don't want it. Well when you're shopping on the Game Stop website, looking at used copies, it says the case and manual isn't guaranteed to be included. But what pisses me off is that they make it a gamble. There should be an option, "Purchase the game ONLY if the case and manual is included." I never wanted to take that risk.

And yeah, fucking stickers. And why the hell do they open up NEW games and then sell it to you for the new price.

The other one is quite large and the employees are very nice. The only thing that bugs me is those darn stickers. Anyway, I think we should had a thread for bad gamestop experiences. I enjoy reading them just to see how stupid the staff is.

You have to kill your enemy before they kill you. Wait that's a terrible analogy

Yeah I assumed that we would have a gamestop thread for that. I went to gamestop today and an employee and a little kid were arguing about what the region in ruby/sapphire is called. The employee said Johto (gold/silver) and the kid said Sinnoh (diamond/pearl?). Ruby/sapphire is hoenn I believe so it was hilarious to watch since they were both wrong. (might have misspelled those names btw)

It would help to know which version. If on PC, you probably have driver issues. If on a console... then I dunno.

Ps3. It froze up twice in 20 minutes. I did buy it used via gamestop, but the disc has no major damage. I beat portal on it and played many hours of tf2, but half life seems to make it mess up. Haven't played it since posting though.

There's your problem. Try to get the game on Windows or X360.
