I voted 2d because its generally my preference, but I love Zelda and never really worry about which perspective one game or another uses.

My top 3, for reference:

1. A Link to the Past
2. Majora's Mask
3. Twilight Princess

Unusual list, I know.

Both styles have their advantages, but I always have fun either way.

I will say two things though.

First, OoT gets far more praise than it deserves. I'm not saying its a bad game, in fact I really like it, but it didn't do anything that wasn't vastly improved upon in its own sequels.
Its certainly not the best of the series.

Second, I agree with you on the ds games. I still haven't beaten Phantom Hourglass. It takes a huge effort for me to even play it, and I get bored in minutes. It is not a fun game.

I've only played four Zelda games. Legend of Zelda, oracle of seasons, ocarina of time, and minish cap. I have seen my friend play LTTP and snes is my absolute favorite console. I can't really get into the 3d ones. I've been playing OOT on and off and I've seen twilight princess and it didn't catch my interest (sue me). My votes for 2D

It's tomato purée here in the UK, don't worry about it. Tomato sauce is Ketchup.

No, ketchup is ketchup.

Sauce is another matter entirely.

Don't argue with me about tomato sauce, I'm Italian dammit!

I'm not arguing specifics, this is just general usage in the UK.

I'm not going to vote, simply because there's no third option for those of us who like both 2D and 3D Zelda games.

But regardless, we can all agree that the CD-i games suck major donkey asshole.

So you call ketchup tomato sauce? Oh, I didn't know that.

I thought you were joking (like a "silly americans" sort of thing) and I joked in turn. Sorry about that. :)
