Saturn Cartridge slot

Post by nick944 »

I was just wondering, I own an action replay for my saturn and a Netlink cartridge. The action replay is extremely hard to get out of the cartridge slot after using, but the netlink comes out easy. Is there any reason for that?

Probably no reason other than Netlink being 1st party and AR being 3rd party.

I think he knows that already, what he's asking is why the 1st party stuff comes out smoother. I think its because the circuit board inside is either thinner or is wedge shaped on Sega stuff.

Note that the AR can screw up your cartridge slot if you use it too much--bends it out of shape and it'll stop reading 1st party cards.
