Bought the following games

Alan Wake (360) -$9.98 at Family Video
Call of Duty: Modern Warefare 2 (360) - $7 at Goodwill
Borderlands (360)-$7.48 at Target

I havent heard much about Alan Wake, but Time Magazine called it the best game of 2010 and I've heard its a very awesome thriller. Its about time I picked up MW2 and I always wanted to play Borderlands.

WHOOAAAHOOO!!! I'm feelin like Metal Militia's avatar right now... allow me to explain:

So there I was, taking care of some business when I hear my phone ring. Feeling somewhat vulnerable with my pants at my ankles I opted to return the call afterwords. While sitting there I decide to check my new voice mail. It's my cool friend Allie who's at a thrift store called Savers (pretty much a fancier Goodwill), apparently (as I was told afterword) buying pants. She proceeds to tell me of the 3 Playstations, 1 "Nintendo", and a Sega Genesis. So I call her back to see what kind of price tags are on them, but she isn't there anymore and she hadn't looked. However, she tells me again what was there describing the Nintendo as a small black thing... for some reason it didn't dawn on me what it was because she didn't say "Gamecube"... girls. Anyhow, I decide to take a run up there and take a gander fer masself. They keep the electronics in the back but I decided to take a peak in the valuables case and spy an Atomic Purple GameBoy Color for... 6.99! "Nice!" I say and proceed to the electronics section. Just as Allie said, there were 3 Playstations, a black Gamecube, a Genesis 1 (no hookups), and a... DREAMCAST for 6.99!! "Sweeet" I say as I pick up the Gen and the Dreamcast. One of the Playstations that didn't have any hookups or controllers was marked 4.99 but I already have two. I walk my way to the checkout counter and ask to see the GameBoy Color. The screen looks great AND it has the battery cover for as I mentioned before, 6.99. Funny thing is, I almost ordered a GBC from Collector's Cards and Games last night for 10 plus shipping, but for some reason decided against it. Oh, and the Genesis was 6.99 also. The Dreamcast is going to need some TLC, it's a little rough looking and the buttons are stuck, but it works! The GBC also works! I don't have Genesis 1 hookups so I'm just gonna pray that when I buy them I'm not wasting money. All in all a fuckin sweet haul! (23 and some change out the door) I'll post some pics over the weekend. Thanks for reading.

Oh, and I also got Samurai Shodown Anthology for the Wii today. I bought it new for 20 beans, but since it's discontinued and it was the last one in stock, I think it's pretty sweet.
