Can't you just run it in Wine?GSZX1337 wrote: Could you ask him if a Linux version of SFR is in the works? Thought I'd ask since there's a Macintosh version.

Probably, but even if it runs OK in WINE, it's always nicer to be able to run it natively without having to load a Windows API layer.YoshiEgg25 wrote:Can't you just run it in Wine?
Re: Sonic Fan Remix
Yes. There's also the concern of performance. I've run "Platinum Rated Apps" in WINE and they would have performance problems.flamepanther wrote:Probably, but even if it runs OK in WINE, it's always nicer to be able to run it natively without having to load a Windows API layer.YoshiEgg25 wrote:Can't you just run it in Wine?

Re: Sonic Fan Remix
I didn't say it made the game better or worse. Just play the original sonic adventure and you'll see he looks a lot shorter in game than in sonic 360 or Sonic 4. Sort of a mid-point between his original look and more recent look. It's really dramatic if you look at Sonic Adventure 1 compared to SA2.

Re: Sonic Fan Remix and Sonic 2 HD
there's a reason the graphics aren't that good in the games sega makes you know. theres no point in having that much detail when you fly past everything at 100mph. plus i downloaded the demo it looks cool but its not more fun than playing the original sonic 2

Re: Sonic Fan Remix and Sonic 2 HD
Actually I always slow down when I play Sonic games to look at the amazing detail they put in the levels, so I think the Fan remix is for me. We have yet to see what Sonic 2 HD will look like though.ac_90 wrote:there's a reason the graphics aren't that good in the games sega makes you know. theres no point in having that much detail when you fly past everything at 100mph. plus i downloaded the demo it looks cool but its not more fun than playing the original sonic 2

I know this comment is from awhile back, but... technically only part of Sonic 4 has been released.Jrecee wrote:Say what you want about sega but at least Sonic 4 got released.
Now, Sonic Colors was released in full, and THAT game is awesome.
