You guys seen these Gamestop MK 9 preorder packages?? The arcade stick could be cool, but 150 is a lot to spend on MK before you find out MK still sucks... well, it might be good... but I can't say I've enjoyed an MK game since I played 4... I digress. Yeah, I though 4 was alright, and I played a lot of MK Gold when I first got my Dreamcast back when. But I played Gold a few months back for the first time in a while. Seemed... not so good any more.

Honestly, the only MK game I really liked from 4 on was Shaolin Monks (and that doesn't really count, it's more of a spin off). I'll definitely give this new one a try, but I'm not gonna get my hopes up. Definitely not gonna pay full price for it, let alone $100 or $150 for a pre-order bundle from Lame Stop.

Shaolin Monks WUZ cool. Even with it's cheesy wall climbing... and it WUZ cheesy.

Sadly, I dont have much faith in this release but possibly I will be surprised. The use of Kratos in every game is overplayed, but because the gore is back maybe we have a nice fit.
