which turok game is the best?

stupid question ... why does the Xbox 360 version of Turok say "Only for xbox 360" on it, even though the game is for ps3 too...

I played the first one on 64....all I remember was I couldn't adjust to the control scheme.

As for only 360....I means the game only plays on Xbox 360. I guess grandma might think it plays on a regular Xbox? Like how back in the day Nintendo 64 games would say "only for Nintendo 64".

i always wondered why on the 1st turok game the guy on the cover is not the guy you play with.

False advertising?

Since I pretty much like all the Turok games (yes, even Evolution) it's hard to choose a favourite. The N64 ones are classics, Evolution was a decent effort with some pretty nice ideas and the "new" Turok is a good game, despite having almost nothing in common with the previous titles.

You wouldn't be talking about the "Only for Xbox" on the cover that was uploaded to Console-covers.com would ya? If you are it has been fixed. It was a custom cover and the maker did not know it was going to be on other consoles. I haven't seen an official cover scanned yet..

The new Turok supposively is pretty average. From my experience Turok 2 is the best in the series, the original and Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion are on the same level. I guess Turok 3 is better though because it fixes some of the dated problems(draw distance etc.) of the original. Turok Rage Wars is also great if you like 4 player deathmatch.

Umm..lets see: Video Game Blogger recently did a mamoth review of Turok 2, its got everything that you'll ever need to know so. I've also done a Turok Rage Wars review which might interest you. ^_^
