Your pre-launch excitement for the 3DS versus DS
Re: Your pre-launch excitement for the 3DS versus DS
I'm way more excited about psp2. :^)

The strange thing is that I feel as though I should be more excited and yet, I'm not.
Yes, I know it's 3D handheld gaming. And yes, it's gonna have classic games in 3D. And it's gonna be more powerful than the Wii. And I've heard other shit, but... I think I need more information to get me excited.

That's funny. I chose "about the same" because I wasn't excited about either. I'm not sure I've ever been excited about a console of handheld launch.
Systems: TI-99/4a, Commodore Vic-20, Atari 2600, NES, SMS, GB, Neo Geo MVS (Big Red 4-slot), Genesis, SNES, 3DO, PS1, N64, DC, PS2, GBA, GCN, NDSi, Wii

Did they actually consider making that thing?

That is funny. I assumed it meant "excited about the same" (and not just "feel the same") and since I was not excited at all, I had to choose the "other" option.

Man, you and me differ so much. I was really excited for Gamecube, DS and Wii. I'm so looking forward to the 3DS. My christmas money is being saved ready.
That said, I voted about the same, because I was pretty hyped for the original DS too. It disappoint either, it's probably my favourite console.

I've never owned a current-gen console or handheld, nor do I wish to, so I don't really feel much reason to get excited.

Actually I am more excited for the release of the 3ds. My only reason is because it will have the new Ocarina of Time remake. When I heard this I nearly passed out from shear awesomness!

I have to say, I'm not excited. I have plenty of games to play, including a dozen of GBA titles. The 3D effect is nice but it is not going to sell the system to me and without it it's a more powerful DS (Not something bad at all, of course) so I can wait
