My first impulse/retro buy of the year, grabbed it about 3 minutes after it went up for auction:eBay

That's awesome. Every time I go to my local goodwill they don't have anything. I should head over there soon and check again.

They never have anything at my goodwills either. This is the second video game success I've had at goodwill. The first was in the begining of '10 when I got my genesis.

So I take a look at the person's other sale items for grins, specifically the PS1 game lot which says "NO SPORTS" (their caps)...

1.) Action Bass
5.) CyberTiger
22.) Power Spike Volleyball
26.) Reel Fishing
40.) WCW vs. the World
64.) WWF Attitude - No Manual

Even leaving out all the racing games, they seem to have a funny idea of what constitutes 'no sports'.

So is Bad Day LA any good?

I'm intrigued by it and kinda love the wacky insano humor it has going as it reminds me a lot of Chappelle and South park when they were at their peak.

I know it seems to catch a LOT of flak in the reviews online but from the looks of it, that seems to be a case of wrong place at the wrong time when it was released. Mainly as most of the mechanics it's using are pretty sought after these days, like contextual items and objective based missions.

I've got a chance to get it for only a penny on Amazon so I figured I'd ask before plunking down what amounts to the cost of shipping on it.
