Annual post for MAGFest. Four days of 24 hours gaming, music and buying stuff. Wedoca has more candy than last year plus even better games to put inside them.

Who's going? (and none of this "oh, I wish I could go but blah blah blah" BS)

Well everyone knows I'm going. I'm a huge fan of Magfest. I'm bringing 5 friends and getting a hotel room. Anyone down for a meet up? Maybe a bomberman tournament, or smash bros?

Yes! I'll be there. I'm flying in from Boston early Thursday evening and leaving Sunday evening. I had to book in the overflow hotel because the Hilton is full, but I don't think it will be that bad...

Hey, Majors! Are the candies gonna be running and available to play 24-hours? I'm definitely planning on pulling some all-nighters and honestly the Wedoca stuff is what I'm looking forward to the most

SIDE NOTE: Anyone know if Four Loko is available in VA? hahaha "MAGfuel!"

Nope; I've already commited myself to help run several cons a year and most of them (save PAX) cover room and board for staffers. Being next to homeless means I really can't afford hotels any more.
I will miss the challenge of attening MAGfest though.
My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.

Yes. In fact the whole con is 24. The arcades are in the halls, so we really can't shut 'em down. The console room is also open all weekend, along with board games and jam space. Only the dealers sleep :)

Trying to get a Third Strike...let's cross our fingers.

I would like to let any gamers know that will be attending Magfest in Alexandria, VA that if they need any directions, restaurant suggestions, metro/transportation sort of help that I offer myself as help since I live in Alexandria. This is mainly for non Magfest activities since they set you up pretty well, but it would be shame, especially if this is your first time in our nation's capital to miss out on some of the other stuff to do, plus sometimes Northern Virginia and the DC area can just be plain confusing.
