Renny Blaster - PCE-CD *new*
Total: 100!
I ended with a game that I try to play through annually, and a game I had never played before. SPF2T must be one of the best all time puzzle games, and it feels quite at home on a handheld. Renny Blaster was a fun beat 'em up with a Castelvania aesthetic that I would recommend highly. I didn't realize when I played it that it is a $400+ PCE-CD game (I played a ROM), and while it is plenty of fun it isn't
that fun. Renny Blaster also gives me a PCE-CD game for the year, meaning that I beat at least one game for every system and portable that I owned when the year began! Mission Accomplished!

Thanks again to Luke for a great thread - I never actually thought I would beat so many games in a year, but everyone's participation in this thread really helped me see it through. It was great to make such a dent in the backlog, and while I don't plan to beat quite so many games next year, I now know that it can be done!
As a bonus picture for some laughs, here I am standing over my kill!
