Pokemon Black and White

Nintendo announced today that Pokemon Black and White will be released in North America on March 6th for $34.99 each.

Nintendo confirmed today that Pokemon Black and White are still coming to North America this spring. They went one better and even announced the exact date the games will hit stores.

Black and White will launch in North America on March 6th. Each version will cost $34.99. Some Pokemon are exclusive to one versin or the other. For example, the Legendary Pokemon Reshiram can only be acquired in Black while Zekrom is only in White. There are also version-exclusive areas - a first for the series. Black will give players access to the Black City while White features the White Forest.

Black and White introduce 150 new Pokemon and an all-new storyline in the Unova region. There are three new starter Pokemon to look forward to: the Grass-type Snivy, the Fire-type Tepig and the Water-type Oshawott.

Very excited for this! :mrgreen: I've always been a fan of the Pokemon games and theses game look awesome. Anybody else excited and plan on picking them up when its released?

Yeah, I got an e-mail from Nintendo about it. I'm fairly excited, and I'll end up picking one of them up on release day. Even if I have to take a taxi out to Walmart. :lol:

I will probably pick these up for my birthday next July or so. I was just thinking, will these have Pokewalker support? That would be kinda sweet. Though I would have to get a new one because mine went through the wash and now it doesnt work.

I'm very excited for this! I discovered the competitive scene with HGSS and it was awesome, we had a lot of fun. I hope we can get some tournaments started when it's released.

I would assume that they wouldn't because they're not being included. The Pokewalker only works with the one game you originally link it with.

I found it with Diamond, and even though I haven't really played for eight months, I found out in October that I can still be quite the force. :)

Anyway, I can set up any tournaments easily, especially if we used Shoddy.
