I'm really getting to like the local new used game store

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I've heard lots of bad things about resurfacing discs too. If something's broken - sure, why not give it a shot but otherwise I'd leave it well alone.

thats pretty much the standard for used game resellers. these businesses have alot of overhead that has to be paid for rent, employee wages, power, etc. plus they get burned fairly often by people selling them busted consoles/carts/controllers

the vextrex does have the game mine storm built into it. mine storm is a asteroids clone and actually pretty fun

what is the shop asking for the vextrex? they go for $70 - $100 on ebay, but with a built in monitor, shipping can be a real killer.
is the controller working well? replacement controllers are pretty expensive on ebay $40+

I love the vectrex, awesome homebrew scene, legal multicarts of the original commercial releases are common, and an unmatched home console experience.
