I would go with the version with controls that you prefer. I went with the PS2 version since I don't have a fight stick/pad for my Wii and have several fight sticks/pads for my PS2.

The PS2 version is ultra RARE, with even the cheapest copies costing $30 or more on eBay and Amazon.com

Ah! SSA anthology was a Godsend when Playmore USA announced it was arriving to the states on PS2. Shit was a bitch to track down because not a single BnM store carried it (not even the mighty Lamestop! I kept getting told that the game never released on PS2, that they were only carrying the PSP and Wii version). I have all. 3 ports.

PSP UMD version is easily the worst by a mile. Sound issues, too much loading times. Game appeared to be designed from the ground up by TR considering the UI is heavily based on the US release of KOF orochi collection. Console versions were essentially based off of the NEO GEO online collection release in japan, TR just added ShoSho Tenka to the disk (Wii version got a mini game as well). PS2 is IMO the best version. Yes it has that stupid "soft filter" but so does the Wii version. Wii load times are super quick, but the PS2 version is very acceptable in this respect.

I got lucky, randomly stumbled upon it at a play n trade by my house and they were selling it for like 12 dollars. Great game :)
