Best/Worst boss fights of 2010
So what are your picks? I can't actually think of any that blew me away from what I played this year. Can think of plenty of crappy ones though, but I don't feel like making a long list

I really enjoyed the god of war 3 fight crawling all over chronos. That was my highlight of the game!

One of the most difficult boss fights of the year IMO was the final boss from the indie PC game Star Guard. I must have died fifty times before I mastered his pattern, and thats no exaggeration!

Bayonetta...every boss in the game had me laughing like crazy at how ridiculous the game was. Especially Jubileus.

The last guy in your gang from Red Dead Redemption. One of the best realistic sandbox game boss fights ever

The boss fights in Metroid: Other M were pretty amazing. They were not hard and I do not think I was ever in danger of losing - but they felt incredible and really drew me in. My disbelief was definitely suspended.
I finally battled Wizeman in NiGHTS: Into Dreams and have similar praise - a suspenseful fight with beautiful presentation that I will not soon forget, even if the difficulty level is low.
Low difficulty does not mean bad experience if the presentation is right.
My worst boss fight was the final boss in Gundam: Lost War Chronicles for the jp PS2. It was so utterly underwhelming that I did not realize it was a boss fight until the credits rolled.

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

BEST
None...
WORST
Empty Mem Aleph (Law) - Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey
For a game that's super hard, the Final Boss sure is weak.
