Ive got some video files in .mkv that will not run on TVersity, which is what i use to stream video to my xbox 360...does anyone know of any free, full version software that I could use to convert this to .avi, or something other than .mkv? TVersity is compatable with everything else on my computer, but not .mkv for some reason. Ive done a lot of google searching but everything is software you have to buy, and I really dont wanna pay 30 bucks so i can stream a few videos to my Xbox.
By the way, anyone who streams video, music, or pictures to any console or phone or anything like that...check out TVersity. It works so much better and does all kinds of cool stuff, like streaming from youtube to your TV, and reads (most) every kind of video, and converts them on the fly to the media file type your system needs to play. Its free but there is a pay version you need to stream to most phones or hand held devices and comes with some exclusive streaming content.

Handbrake is a little more user-friendly, but SUPER is really powerful.Pabstblueribbon wrote:Ive got some video files in .mkv that will not run on TVersity, which is what i use to stream video to my xbox 360...does anyone know of any free, full version software that I could use to convert this to .avi, or something other than .mkv?
