If you're up for a good challenge, you simply must play MDK 2. There is a PS 2 version, but I like the original. It's an action adventure game with third person shooting, platforming, puzzle solving and even has some old school shmup stages. It's hardcore, it's old school and it's damn funny. It's one of the Dreamcast's often un-appreciated games. Check out some youtube videos.

Racket's list is pretty dead on. If you like shooters I highly suggest Bangai-O, and Mars Matrix. JoJo's Bizzare Adventue is also of my favorites (there is a ps1 version as well), but the standard Dreamcast controller isn't great for fighters.

JoJo's Bizarre adventure works great with the DC controller since the game only requires 4 buttons.

JoJo's Bizarre adventure works great with the DC controller since the game only requires 4 buttons.

I was thinking more of the stiff d-pad and general girth of the thing that makes you get tired of holding it. If the game does require use of the the triggers it feels like i have to hold it a odd angle and my fingers get all cramped up. I do like it for shmups and other games though. You could always get a slimmer 3rd party style controller.....
