last I checked, Spurs were the only team ahead of the Celtics... and it was only by one win.

The Celtics in my opinion are the best team in the NBA so far. They may lose a couple games with Rondo being out, but when he comes back they will be a force to be reckoned with.

So anybody see Orlando basically trade half there team away? They traded Rashard Lewis to the Wizards for Gilbert Arenas and then the traded Vince Carter, Marcin Gortat, and Mickael Pietrus to the Suns for Hedo Turkoglu, Jason Richardson, and Earl Clark. Interesting that they got Arenas. Is he going to play SG since Nelson is the PG or vice versa :? I think the moves make Orlando a better team, but not on the Celtics/Heat level.

i see the Orlando starting lineup like this:

PG: J. Nelson
SG: G. Arenas
C: D. Howard
SF: J. Richardson
PF: H. Turkoglo/B. Bass

a small but talented line up. i predict they won't go too far in the playoffs but i'll be cheering for this team since they have j-rich/arenas combination. plus i've always like D. Howard as a player.

The NBA announced the teams for the 2011 Rookie Challenge.

John Wall will be joined on the Rookie squad by Clippers forward Blake Griffin, Clippers guard Eric Bledsoe, Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins, New Jersey Nets forward Derrick Favors, New York Knicks guard Landry Fields, Minnesota Timberwolves guard Wesley Johnson, Detroit Pistons center Greg Monroe, and San Antonio Spurs guard Gary Neal.

They will oppose the NBA’s Sophomore class of Sacramento Kings guard Tyreke Evans, San Antonio Spurs center DeJuan Blair, Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, Toronto Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan, Chicago Bulls forward Taj Gibson, Philadelphia 76ers guard Jrue Holiday, Oklahoma City Thunder forward/center Serge Ibaka, Milwaukee Bucks guard Brandon Jennings, and Portland Trail Blazers guard Wesley Matthews.

sounds like a fun match up.
