I'd love to see some lesser known games get attention. Bulk Slash and Elavator Action Returns on the Saturn come to mind.
I don't know if EAR might be considered too violent though. I think there is something in the options screen that lets you turn off all of the blood and gore though, and it's an easy pick up and play arcade game that could work in a convention.
Three Dirty Dwarves is a fun beat'em up that is certainly family friendly. There's also Three Wonders from Capcom.
For the Dreamcast I'd suggest MDK 2, Sonic Adventure, Crazy Taxi and I'm surprised nobody said Jet Grind Radio or Space Channel 5
Convention worthy Saturn and Dreamcast titles?

Don't get first part ones, they are too precious to be used by a bunch of people like that. I personally have 2 sets of the third party EMS ones you are looking at, they are pretty good. I don't own the first party ones to compare them to, but I don't have problems with my sets. They are really accurate, and work great. I have heard of some people saying that sometimes the maracas don't get recognized or that you need to place them far apart if you are using 2 sets simultaneously since they can get mixed up. If they don't get recognized then I read that all you need to do is replace the IR LEDs and you are good. If you can get them cheap then that is good, but don't pay more than $30 each for them. The manufacturers website says MSRP should be about $25.fastbilly1 wrote:I have talked it over with the boss lady and she may let Typing of the Dead slide. Foolishly I did not realize that Cannonspike and Gunspike were the same title, I will through that one into the queue as well, thanks.
Samba De Amigo leads to one problem Caboose, I do not have Maracas. And it will cost me atleast $100 a pair to get them off ebay. Unless I can find a cheaper way to do this, Samba De Amigo will be on hold until the wii version. I have to ask though, can the Maracas, both first and third party, stand up to a beating?
Thanks alot for the ideas already fellas, if yall can think of more, I am open for ideas..
Update -
Ive found some third party maracas, the ChaCha Amigo (EMS's Red ones) controllers, for sale at a price I am willing to pay for two sets. However I am always skeptical of 3rd party stuff. So if anyone has used them before can you weigh in on the issue for me?

Gamerforlife I like the way you think, I will look into grabbing Three Dirty Dwarves, always did want that one. Bulk Slash is alittle to invovled I think - but I will throw it in the loop anyway.
Caboose I am so glad you said that, I am going to order two sets tomorrow depending on if I win the auction I am looking at. Ill form the list tomorrow of what is currently in the queue and what I am missing from it.

i would wonder how Armada for dc would do since its up to four players and just fun to do for a while. Gunbird is cool but if you are looking for a decently challenging shmup i would go with the one play psyvariar 2 and give players a one shot one try. you also got fur fighter and toy commander. this is one is for the playstation. for the original ps i would go with the nutty but totally awesomeo four player killer gekido. i love that game. and shit if you want to take a break from it just put it in your cd player and listen to the music. just like n20. dam those crystal method people. so catchy.
