Re: I'm done with Goozex
No I don't. What happened reminds me of people buying games for the gamecube without having a gamecube controller and negging the seller for saying it works on the Wii.noiseredux wrote: Perhaps some of you agree with the Dispute Team's decision (several Goozex forum members seemed to).
Idiot buyer (was it that hard to get a mat separately?) and really stupid policy. Don't buy/sell in that place again.

Re: I'm done with Goozex
I sent an email requesting my game back at no shipping cost to myself. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Yeah, it's your fucking game, I'd say them keeping it amounts to stealing.
Re: I'm done with Goozex
If they refuse to send your game back, I would honestly just find out where the company is based (as in what city), call the local police department there, and report the company for theft of property and misrepresentation of services.
While the police certainly would not bust in 'cops' style, they would be obligated to serve notice to the company that they have been accused of theft. This type of thing is usually enough to get a small time company like goozex in line with reality. In my experience, people and companies do things because they honestly do not think anyone will call them out.
But since they have obviously committed theft (taken both your game and your credit for the game) where you have only asked for your property to be returned as it has wrongly been judged as defective, a writ of praemunire would probably be fairly easy to have issued at zero legal cost to you.
Oh and fuck those guys.

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
