Agree, the wall climbing shooter aspect really makes for an intriguing game.xan_racketBOY_fan wrote:I've always loved Ghost In The Shell on the PS1 -- smooth controls, sweet arcade vibe, thumpin' music, and funny cutscenes! Glad I've held onto it all these years
Must Play Games before I finally pack PS2 and PS1 away ?

I was hoping someone would bring that game up; I got it a few weeks ago, and I'm absolutely loving it. The gameplay is like a more arcade-like Armored Core, and overall, it is more creative and fun than most games in the mecha genre.CRTGAMER wrote:Agree, the wall climbing shooter aspect really makes for an intriguing game.xan_racketBOY_fan wrote:I've always loved Ghost In The Shell on the PS1 -- smooth controls, sweet arcade vibe, thumpin' music, and funny cutscenes! I wanted to ask what's so good about Shadow of the Colossus ?
I tried to play it I got lost and couldn't be bothered with it.
Tell me if I'm missing out because the baron landscapes just bored me and at the end of it you get to fight a boss looks like a glorified boss rush to me.

That's the entire experience is to enjoy the journey around the world. Every colossus battle is very unique. You owe it to yourself to kill at least the first two. If after than you are still not interested at all, then your loss.msimplay wrote:I wanted to ask what's so good about Shadow of the Colossus ?

Alright I'll try a couple of Collosus but it's not a loss if I'm not interested since not everyone likes the same things in lifeBradtemple87 wrote:That's the entire experience is to enjoy the journey around the world. Couldn't have said it better myself. I can understand why some may look at the landscapes and think it's baron and boring; but it's the trek across these plains, the confrontation with these majestic beast (no two encounters feel the same) coupled with an amazing score, and topped-off with an epic conclusion. There's just so many little details that I can go on about that makes this game a masterpiece in my eyes ... damn, now I'm going to fire up the good ol' PS2 just to play it!Bradtemple87 wrote:That's the entire experience is to enjoy the journey around the world.
