3) Master of Orion

Good one! I was trying to think of this game when I made my post, but just couldn't think of the name. It was Master of Orion II that I really got into. I think I preferred it to the Star Control games.

A ton of older PC games are at your local thrift store.

Unfortunatedly there are no old PC games at any store I go. I can get all the consoles I want but PC games? No chance. If it doesn't come in a DVD case I can't find it.

Haha, that was a mistake. I had three tabs open and I thought I had three games to choose from. The third one was A-Train 8, which is not an oldie XD

Okey, I bought Total Annihilation because I needed to order the game now and it was the first one I selected.

Why dont you just install the freeware version now, then get a disc for it down the road? I understand wanting the discs on the shelf, but freeware is well free.

I still have to beat a couple of PC games so I'm in no hurry. If it includes the expansions I will probably download it so as to not use my discs, they are also probably patched so that's a hassle I avoid.
