I want to purchase a new system after christmas this year. I originally wanted to get a Wii, but now i am unsure if i should get a wii, a 360, or a ds. So heres my options:
I already have a ps3 so most 360 games I'm interested in i would get (or already have) for my ps3. The only 360 games i would get would be like halo or left for dead. The majority of my friends have a 360 so i would probably use it for multiplayer purposes, plus i could borrow games from them, etc.
I originally wanted a wii for the many nintendo exclusives that I"m missing out on. Thats pretty much it, but there's a lot of games i want for it.
I want a ds for pretty much the same reason as a wii. And they're cheaper so thats always good.
Any thoughts on which one i should get next would be nice. Note: i do plan on getting all three of them eventually.
Next system I should get?

Why get a current generation system? It's just going to depreciate in your hands. At least a retro system is likely to hold its value.
That said, get a Neo Geo.

Re: Next system I should get?
No. I want one of the newer systems. They are easier to find, system and game wise alike, and im not interested in a turbograpfx or 3do.

Then get a ds if you like rpgs and nintendo, get a wii if you have friends to play with in person or a 360 if you want to play online.SwooshBear wrote:No. I want one of the newer systems. They are easier to find, system and game wise alike, and im not interested in a turbograpfx or 3do.

Yes, I second this. But get the Japanese version, the PC Engine.yomomma1 wrote:turbografx 16
Of course, you can always download PC Engine games on your PS3 from the PSN. You can get them on your Wii as well, via the Virtual Console.
Best solution, get a Wii and a DS. Both together are about the same price as a 360 anyway. Then you have access to the Nintendo games you want, retro games when you want them (Racketboy IS a retro gaming site, after all!!!), and the good RPGs on the DS.
