I assume you have the actual console, controller, and a vmu?

Some of the games I like are Shenmue, Virtua Fighter 3, Skies of Arcadia, Starlancer, Grandia II, Game Maker.... You can still play Phantasy Star Online (both offline single player or online on a private server).

Hard to make suggestions though as I don't know what your game interests are!

Well I like FPS, TPS, Action, adventure, puzzles, and fighters :D

Virtua Fighter 3 sounds cool

does Game Maker fullfill its name sake? so can you actually design games in it?

Phantasy Star Online sounds cool to, any other suggestions?

Forgot all about Marvel vs Capcom 2! Another good game.

Yes, its quite interesting, but of course you have to use the preset graphics and so forth. Unfortuntly, it was released in Japan only, so you'll need to understand Japanese to really be able to use it.

Without a doubt, if you've never played any DC games, get: Jet Grind Radio, Sonic Adventure, Crazy Taxi (1 or 2), Soul Calibur, and if you can get it cheap enough, Bangaio! (Don't forget a VMU if you don't have one...)
Those are some of my favorites and what first come to mind on the DC. Happy gaming~

Get the stuff from RacketBoy's list, definitely a solid starting point.
