I'm thinking you just made a lot of enemies.
Well I think it depends on his age and when he started gaming. I'm only 23 but I got a lot of nintendo time in as soon as I was old enough to understand how to use it.

Admittedly though, I keep mine because it's the only way to play Alone in the Dark on a console...in fact, that game is the specific reason why I bought mine. I own D for the Sega Saturn, but I wouldn't mine picking up both the 3DO and PS1 versions to see if there is a difference.

There are a few other games I'm interested in on the console. Advanced Dungeons & Dragons: Slayer appeals to me. I also really want to try the fighting game Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon S.

And how could you knock the console that brought us Ballz: The Director's Cut?

I would go with the 32x, but it did have Knuckles Chaotix which is very redeeming in itself.. I guess I'll have to go with the virtual boy, basically the 32X but also the risk of damaging your eyes... 3DO and Jaguar are up there as well, but they have some selection of games that are great although their best ones aren't necessarily exclusive either..

For me it's the N64. I own one with several games, but I can't get into it. The only games I enjoyed on it was Pilotwings 64 and Sin & Punishment. I've played the greats, Conker's, Mario 64, GoldenEye, etc, but I could never get into the N64 even tho I tried.

Nes- I can't get into anything besides Mario and contra
Ps2- I can see how it was successful but don't enjoy it as much as the Gamecube, Xbox, and Dreamcast.
Psp- I only want one for Crazy taxi and powerstone. Nothing else appeals me. The Ds is vastly superior.

The same thing happened to me. I was so pissed when that happened.

I see a couple of you have put up the PS2, which I find a bit surprising. But considering I was a big fan of the PS2, that may just be personal bias. Still, if you let me know what genres you like, I could try coming up with a few recommendations which might interest you. For instance, I know ZeroAX enjoys platformers. Have you tried the Sly Cooper series? I've heard them receive a lot of recommendations for platformer fans.

As far as consoles that I don't care for...well, I'm not a big fan of the original Xbox controller, and even with the smaller versions, I didn't really care for it. I've not played too many consoles that I dislike, though I don't care for the R-Zone. I consider it more of an anomaly than a dedicated handheld. And I wrote the 101 article on it for this website.
