Nice review! Interesting about the Gamecube steering controller with GB Player, that is a great discovery! Analog working on a digital controlled game, I wonder if there are other GBA games that work with it?

Thinking about that steering wheel makes me wonder about a possibly easy mod. The analog function is already in place, a gutted steering assembly to work as a spinner without the steering stops fitted on a board with a good spinner knob. Come to think of it, maybe dedicated console Tempest versions may also work with a steering wheel. Once I get the PC Mouse spinner mod to work, another mod to consider for the Tempest X or Atari Anniversary? Hmmm.

You can use the analog stick for any GBA game, so I'm assuming that any game would work.

that actually makes a lot of sense.

Nope. :(

I originally thought maybe the Vaus just pulsed the left and right to simulate analog movements, but it actually uses different pins going to the console like the zapper does. Who knows what the adapter tries to do with stuff other than the standard buttons. I also can't imagine the game to be expecting the funky input even if the adapter (that was probably developed after the game) sent along the information anyway.
