No this is a good idea. I don't know anyone who got really offended when a dog sniffed their crotch.
Muslims?

But honestly I'm not sticking up for the above. I am all for dogs being used for security. They're highly accurate and aren't filled with radiation or have fingers to probe you. XD

Dogs are highly accurate if used correctly. In the hands of a less than ethical investigators, a dog can be made to alert at will. And there's no incentive for the cops not to make their dogs lie. If you don't find contraband, you never make it to court, so you can never challenge the search.

Not scanner related, but still a victory against the security theater.

Always nice to see. Shame that he's still on the hook for thousands of dollars of legal bills after having proven that he's done nothing wrong. There really needs to be a way to get compensation for those who have been falsely accused, and punishment for those who falsely prosecuted. IMO, every one of those cops, TSA agents, and prosecutors involved in the case deserve to rot in jail for abuse of power.

BTW, did you notice the Russian suicide bombing today? Two things stand out to me:

First, this is proof that sacrificing civil liberties does not make you safer. If we want to stop terrorism, we're going to have to be even less free than Russia. Is it worth it?

Second, the terrorists targeted the line to go through security. Perhaps we should screen people before they get lined up to get screened?

I'm calling false flag.

"Look, another "terrorist attack"! We need more security and less rights for the general population!"

Awesome. They have it coming anyway.

Would you rather have your 3D body image scanned and stored into US gov't profiles and get a dose of radiation without protection, or have your balls fondled and grabbed/bare breasts exposed to all and vagina inspected?

I'd say the suing is justified.

Why did they use a years old picture of Ventura where he's looking like a crazy guy, instead of a recent photo where he looks the same as he did when he was governor?

My dad got married over the weekend. I had to fly. Atl has the full body scanners but not at the main security checkpoint. Not sure how you end up going through the checkpoint that has the full body scanners, I walked right past 2 of them.

O'hare is a different story. Had to go through the scanners. Fortunately I'm impervious to radiation and my penis is huge so I went through it. As if I had the time to drive home.

Fortunately I don't have any more flying to do. And future trips to chicago will be by car. I'll just make the time.
