Looking for list of Hori Shmups

Here are a few for you that aren't called Gradius/Salamander/Parodius. They are all thunderful, except for one:

Gate of Thunder- Turbrgrafx-16/PC Engine Super CD
Lords of Thunder- Turbografx-16/PC Engine Super CD/Sega CD
Air Zonk- Turbrgrafx-16/PC Engine Super CD
Thunder Force III- Genesis/Mega Drive
Thunder Force IV/Lightening Force- Genesis/Mega Drive

I'd recommend Darius Gaiden. Best in the series IMO, and its on both the PS1 and the Saturn. The Saturn version is better, and pretty cheap too.

I agree. G.Darius on the PS1 is really good, as well. It has branching levels, a bit like Outrun does.

The Darius series. You fight fish-shaped space ships, it's pretty excellent.
