That's an awfully nice Playstation collection you have there! I've chosen to start up a PS1 collection recently, and I was just curious: What was your reason for wanting to collect for the series of consoles?

Is there a reason you need more than 10 nes's?

One nes per game? It can be hard to start up older carts. Just leave the game in there and boom. Awesome set up

Not if you reset the pins in the cartridge connector. It only takes a few minutes, a clothes pin and a screw driver!

the reason i have all those nes's (thats just a part of my stock) is because i refurbish and resell them to make some money to buy more games
the Playstation shelves are awesome indeed, got them from a fellow collector
and why i got into Playstation 1.. I have no real explanation, I just got drawn to them cuz there is so much obscure and awesome stuff for the PS1 and it is still fairly easy to get it

Your collection just reminds me how bad US box art can be
