Anyone preorder Back To The Future yet?

Post by corn619 »

Just watched the trailer on their website, http://www.telltalegames.com/bttf and I'm really looking forward to the 22nd. Once I saw the Delorean screaming down the road at 88mph and then Huey Lewis kicked in, I ordered it immediately after. I'm a big fan of the movies and was wicked excited and worried at the same time, the NES games sucked. I have to admit though, I liking the graphical style they used but hate the way their releasing the game in episodes. I'm not expecting game of the year here, but heres hoping it doesn't suck.

If they ever do back to the future remake or another sequel, they should have the car at 188mph to make it even faster. I wan't talking about the game unless it was similar to ghostbuster graphics and M.j.fox.

I got the first episode while it was free. If it's good, I might pick up the other ones.

Ditto. The trailer is awesome though. I'm tempted to just pre-order.

Same here. I will wait until it's on sale on Steam that way I can play it on my Mac and my PC. Sadly, Telltale's website isn't very clear on whether you will get both versions. Annoyingly I have season 2 of Sam & Max that is only playable on PC because of their stupid 'Mac & PC' but you can only play it on one thing. If it's playable on both on steam, then the why the hell can't I have the Mac version directly from Telltale?

Getting up to 188mph in a car on normal roads is more difficult than one would imagine, believe me I know. Also, since the number 8 is also the symbol for infinite which time is, I say keep it as is. As far as a remake is concerned, Back To The Future was made in 85 and thats where it should stay. Trying to recreate that magic with todays Hollywood & different characters would only ruin the movie. I've seen enough of my childhood memories destroyed by Hollywood, thanks.

I'm not touching it until it's on Steam. Shame, because I really want to play it.
