Because it can't exist. It's a physical impossibility for a console released in 2010 to be retro (Not to mention that no consoles have been released this year). Unless your just saying the best retro console of all time and then it's not really a "best of 2010" list. Is it?

Except they dont. There have been responses listing modern consoles and responses listing retro ones. My response even asked the question of which you meant, although for the sake of actually being a 2010 list I presumed you mean the console with the best retro-style games. But even then, you could mean the console with the best retro game support, what with the wii's virtual console, the PS3's playstation classics and the 360's game room.
