~Good way to Display Loose N64 Carts?

Post by I Feel Asleep!! »

Hey, I have a lot of N64 games that I'm very proud to own and would LOVE to display, but damn the lack of end labels! I do NOT want to stick on some end labels of my own. That feels tacky to me and I just want to avoid it. Do you guys know of any creative and cool ways to show off some showcase N64 games that are out of box, but will not expose the games to too much air and dust? Cheers!

Not interested in getting some universal game cases?

Not really...Even if I get those and line them up like I would, say, boxed genesis games, I still can't see the titles. I've tried setting some up in universal cases, but they just take up too much space if I line them up facing forward. I'd like to display them in some way where you can see the actual game labels, but I know that's a little picky and limits a lot of choices as far as displaying them goes.

What if you put them on a shelf, and on the edge of the shelf under each game, you put a little Post-It Note that says the name of the game on it?

Trying to avoid labeling for each game, if possible...ideally, I would want to have the front labels ON the games act as the displays for the games. So I'd like to display them in a way where they are facing forward, not lined up sideways.

Just put them on your game shelf facing forward, instead of on there side. You could put them on little picture frame holders you can buy from art stores.

Yeah that's a nice idea, maybe I will try that. I just wanna make sure that they aren"t overly exposed to dust, but that sounds like it wouldn't be too...dust-inducing? hehe

Perhaps if you went to IKEA you could find something like this. But clear.

I would worry more about labels fading due to light more than dust.

i think over at both sega-16 and nintendoage, a member is selling custom sticker labels to put on the ends of the games. from what other people were saying about them, they are really nice and work very well.

you just can't buy a few, you have to buy the complete set of them and i forget the price.
if you took a shit, please put it back
